Snooker | Print |

snooker at the Ipswich and Suffolk Club

As restrictions ease as the Club gradually re-opens I wanted to take the opportunity of reminding you all that the snooker tables are available for play after May 17th 2021 and bookings can be made now by e mailing Robert.

Tuesday evenings at the club has always been the Snooker Club Night and these evenings will return after Monday June 21st 2021 - if you are interested in playing snooker on a social basis then please come along and meet other like minded members. The emphasis is very much on sociability and levels of skill are not a criteria!

The Club does also have a schedule of snooker evening matches against other local organisations which are based again on the social enjoyment of meeting members of both organisations - if you are interested in playing in any of these then please let me know.

After a long winter of lockdown and very little to do I am hoping to see many of you at the club in the near future.

Please all stay safe.

Allan Williams | Captain of Snooker

The Ipswich and Suffolk Club boast a superb snooker facility with two first class tables in gererously proportioned adjacent rooms, conveniently located next to the club bar!

Here a thriving snooker section plays informally on a daily basis and throughout the year in club and inter-club competition.

The snooker section has for many years been under the capable stewardship of Snooker Captain Allan Williams, who with the help of the snooker committee makes sure that the full programme of matches are always well attended and much enjoyed by all.
