Important Club information


The Ipswich and Suffolk Club re-opens its doors to members 3rd August 2020.

Please note that we will be running a scaled back operation for the foreseeable future to comply with Government recommendations and guidelines.

We are currently only able to accept pre-booked diners in our restaurant and offering table service for bar drinks.

Events have been cancelled/postponed however a few special events are both planned and booked so do please keep an eye on your email or the events page of this website for details of forthcoming events. These will be limited capacity so book early to ensure you do not miss out.

If in doubt, please contact and check with the club before making your journey.

We ask that all members observe these for the safety of both fellow members and staff.

  • We have a COVID19 Clubhouse traffic flow system.
  • Entry to the Clubhouse is ONLY via our Northgate Street entrance.
  • Exit from Clubhouse is ONLY via our Tower Street door.
  • Please the arrows located in the clubhouse. We are here to assist.
  • You MUST use our sanitiser provided in our entrance. Use pin code as advised (reminders available) - the pad is regularly sanitised.
  • Upon entry to the building, the lead visitor of the party is required to sign-in.
  • Toilets are on a 1 out, 1 in basis with signs for you to use.
  • The bar area is closed and we will serve drinks to tables.
  • Payment by card is preferred.
  • Snooker rooms are pre-book only. DO NOT attempt to arrive without booking as you WILL be turned away.
  • If you wish to use a face mask you may do so but this is not mandatory.
  • The clubhouse is capped at 30 persons at any one time.
  • We will be continually sanitising areas before opening and during the day for your safety.
  • You must not attend the clubhouse if your feel unwell, raised temperature, persistent cough, changes in smell and taste.
